Ms Gaohong Yin, an MS student in the HALO group, was the recipient of a 2015 Student Award at the Modelling and Simulation Society of Australia and New Zealand Inc. (MSSANZ) biennial MODSIM conference, which was held in December on the Gold Coast in Australia. Gaohong had an invited presentation that showcased her work on: "A Multiple-point Geostatistics Method for filling gaps in Landsat ETM+ SLC-off images" that had been undertaken with her Professor McCabe and collaborator Professor Mariethoz from the University of Lausanne.
